Yes. He was a good hitter from 2011-15 (.281/.359/.450 with a 121 OPS+ over that span) and he was probably one of the best defensive players in all of baseball. He ranked 9th in WAR during that span. Gordon may not have lived up to the lofty expectations around him as a prospect (at least not offensively), but he's still been a very good player. The defense is still quite good, but his bat is just abysmal this year.
