Tigers helping the Tribe out, holding the Twins back, while gaining no ground for themselves.

No idea what the Royals are doing, but they have been more good than bad since one of the worst Aprils I can ever recall as a fan. They're going to need a fill-in starter. Travis Wood can't be starting any games if they're remotely serious about a playoff push.

Also, a QS is actually a somewhat meaningful stat in a year where the average starters ERA is hovering right around 4.5. Wild.

Easier said than done. More teams that need a pitcher, than pitchers on the market.

One of the Twins, Royals, or Indians will derp their way to 86 wins or something like that even if it's pure luck. Obvious bet is the Indians but weird things happen.

Exactly. It's incredibly rare that one team does not manage to go on at least a little run to win 85-86 games.

Yeah, but a 4.5 guy isn't that hard to find I don't think. It just can't be Travis Wood starting every 5th day; that's close to an automatic loss for a team that's on a wire act right now trying to figure out its offense and bullpen at the same time. Unless they get real delusional and deal guys like Lovelady, Blewett (real names btw) and Mondesi, nobody like Sonny Gray is walking through the door.

Speaking of Wood- Junis, who was just called up, I think is a better option than Wood. Junis could conceivably be a #4 with some time to develop. Wood? Nah- he done.

Well, the White Sox have been trying to move Derrek Holland and Melky Cabrera. You guys could use both (back-end rotation guy, and an every day switch-hitting OF). However, there's no chance of the Royals moving a prospect they like inside of the division.

Rays lose, Indians win, Yankees losing.

If this holds, the Royals are likely a .5 game out of the Rays-Yankees duet along with the Twins.
