Where in Ohio are you originally from & how did you become a meeeechegan fan? Just wondering.

I grew up around Orrville (home of Smuckers). My Father worked in Barberton many years and Michigan fans know this is the home of Bo Schembechler. My dad also worked with the father of Ricky Powers who played TB at Michigan in the early 90's. One my HS teachers had two brothers-in-law play basketball at Michigan in the late 70's so there were a lot of connections for me as a kid.

Plus their helmets have wings!

Heading up that way this weekend. The girlfriend is from the Tuslaw area, and we're heading to the Carrolton area to unplug at the cabin for the weekend. I'll also say that the Rawiga Golf Course is one of the best I've ever played for the money since they made it public. NE Ohio is awesome.

That's cool. Went to many Central Hower/Barberton hoop games back in the day. And I remember Ricky Powers @ Buchtel. I think he's still the HC there. We were in the same graduating class, I went to Garfield though.

The Bodnar twins played on Barberton's State Championship team. One of them was an associate AD for many years at Michigan

Jorge Bonifacio nearly hit his 4th HR of the trip just now. Been a decent bat so far. Would be nice if the defense comes back to average like he generally was thought to be.

The Muds Hens are the 8th most valueable minor league affiliate. Worth just under $30million. Which is less than what the newest member of their rotation will have made in 16-17 combined.
