Thunder and Raptors mixed up in a very entertaining game.

The Eastern conference is looking to be really interesting when it comes to 3-8 seeds. Looking at the remaining schedules of those teams.

Cavs - 13 games remaining 6 road games. 7 playoff contenders
Wizards - 12 games remaining 6 road games. 6 playoff contenders
Pacers - 12 games remaining 7 road games. 8 playoff contenders
Sixers - 14 games remaining 5 road games. 4 playoff contenders
Bucks - 13 games remaining 8 road games. 8 playoff contenders
Heat - 12 games remaining 4 road games. 6 playoff contenders.

Going a really quick guesstimation based on the above I would predict the following records

Cavs currently 40-29 - 7-6 to close out and finish 47-35
Wizards currently 40-30 - 7-5 to close out 47-35
Pacers currently 40-30 - 5-8 to close out 45-37
Sixers currently 38-30 - 10-4 to close out 48-34
Bucks currently 38-32 - 5-8 to close out 43-39
Heat currently 37-33 - 8-4 to close out 45-37

The Cavs just can't seem to get into rhythm. When Loves comes back maybe that changes. I could see them winning as few as 5 or as many as 10 if Lebron does Lebron things.
The Wizards have also been up and down. Not sure when Wall comes back.
The Packers have a really tough finish to the season. 8 of 12 games against playoff teams fighting for seeds is going to make it really tough for them
The Sixers have, by far, the easiest path to close the season. They have the most games left but only 5 on the road and only 4 playoff contenders, including a final game of the season with the Bucks that may or may not matter. Embiid has definitely started to show some tiredness so he might need to take a game or two off and that could change things a lot.
The Bucks have been struggling lately. They have been a .500 team since Parker's return. A really tough close out plus a struggling team suggests that they may limp into the playoffs.
The Heat could move up 2 or 3 seeds given their remaining games. Heck they could possibly get HFA in the 1st round if they play really well. But that isn't likely.

Obviously my Sixer homerdom may affect my projections and realistically I would have to think that one of the Cavs/Wizards/Pacers will wind up with 48+ wins. But I looked up what 538 says and they seem to agree with me...

I honestly didn't look at that until after I wrote all that. Seems like they agree with me on everyone except the Heat who they have winning one fewer game than I do.

Great game between Toronto and OKC. Definitely better than I've seen in the ncaa tournament

Don't disrespect my Heat like this. Thanks

Watching a game like this makes me LMAO about people who actually think CBB is better than NBA. The NBA is such a better product

NCAA ball doesn't get my focus until the Elite 8.

Even then, I would watch a matchup like Thunder vs Raptors first.

I pray to god Donovan doesn't plan on starting 4th quarters in the playoffs with Abrines, Grant, Ferguson, Felton, and Patterson

Marc Davis and his crew screw up another call.

The NBA need to scrap that new continuation rule. Too much inconsistency
