Anthony Davis is the dark horse. He is about to go nuts with Boogie out. If he can somehow get the Pels to a 6 or 7 seed he could sneak in there.

Unless you have a ridiculous statistical year as Russ had last year, you're not winning the MVP or is getting serious consideration unless your team finishes top 3 in their conference.

Milwaukee ceiling seems like the 4th seed while I can't see the Pelicans finishing higher than 6th.
