Apparently FS1 thinks I really really want to watch Basel/ManU, instead of the Bayern/Anderlecht match. It's not true, but they don't care.

I mean Bayern was never going to make it on TV today to be honest with you.
Man U, Barca, & PSG are all playing but I'm pretty stunned that they put Barca/Juventus on FS2 and Man U on FS1. That game should be a FS1 game for sure.

I try and avoid all things ESPN due to their treatment of UCONN. I've hemmed and hawed over whether or not I should jump in to either of the Fox Sports apps (Go and Soccer+), but I can't seem to get a handle on whether it's good or complete crap.

Haven't tried the Soccer+, But since I have FS1 and 2 with my cable, I use the Fox Sports Go app all the time, especially at work (we have wifi ) I just sign in with my cable provider and get all of the FOX Sports shows.

I think Soccer + is a waste, most of the top games and leagues I want to watch are on FS2 or FS2, I really don't need to watch the Scottish League or Rugby which what seems to be on Soccer+ mostly. You can use the Fox Sports webpage too, just sign in with your cable provider.

As for Juve/Barca being on FS2, instead of 1, well.....it's ManU. They're so powerful they can bump a more compelling match to boonies just by thinking about their awesomeness.

Man U looked pretty good so far in the EPL. I would have done the same thing they did. Just would have put their game on FS2 instead of FS1. And isn't Basel a solid team?

I have to think that Man U/Basel would be more competitive than Bayern/Anderlecht and that is another factor as well IMO

That's why I downloaded the Fox Sports Go and ESPN apps, so I can choose which game to watch.

BTW the Bayern/Anderlecht match can be seen via ESPN3.

ESPN3 and FS2 not on comcast at my place. Not sure why. I am at work so I can get FS2 at the bar nearbye and these games fit into my lunch window. Today's game was not available for me and I expected a win anyways. I will hold out for PSG next game and hope that is on somewhere I can see it. That will be a good one.

So much for my assertion that Juve-Barca would be the more compelling matchup. Of course the ManU game is equally not compelling, so maybe FS1/2 made the right call.

Didn't catch the Barca Juve game, surprising result tho. Everyone has been down on Barca and they wipped ass (on the stats sheet at least)

Dortmund has a lot of injuries. Look at the list: Reus, Schmelzer, Bartra, Weigl, Schurrle, Rode, Durm, Guerreiro. Perfect scheduling for the Spurs to meet them. If they can't beat Dortmund without these players, their hopes for getting out of group play not good.

To be fair, Wembley may as well be an away game for Spurs as they don't typically play well there.
