yeah severson is a wildcard hes all over the place but his skating is lightspeed compared to love joy. really need that against the bolts

I watched the games last night. I didn't expect that kind of whipping by the Pens.
The Jets game was good except the last minute with the 10 plus icings. That was worse then final minute of NBA. That place was going nuts.

It wasn't a bad start... Tampa definitely flying and playing hard off the bat.... We didn't crumble per say but held our own.

Kinkaid needs to react much quicker, I feel he reacts too slow all the time but he got us here afterall...

Two goals by tamp n both times an open guy in front of Keith. Either Hall is missing his mark(don't think so but was on both) or defense overpursuing....

noticed TB is leaving a defender up high like a safety.

Like the puck in the air dump approach, something different.

Need our heroes to play like heroes... don't lose sight nor get wrapped up in the excitement, get back to the ice n work!

BTW, not in agreement still with Lovejoy in... over Severson... we need a shot from up top, I think we can get a break with those.

Idk... where would we be if Wood didn't start us off on PK? down 3-0 quickly on another "fortunate" roll for a clear strike for TB...

we finally started building some confidence and flow on the offensive end... started putting TB in their end and all of a sudden we generating pressure and missed opportunities... a fluke goal for us hopefully starts something. If not gm 1 then for the series....

For a team with "speed" as their best asset we often times looked slow out there....

I expect some changes by Hynes in gm 2, a la lovejoy(not quick enough) for Sevvy.

Devils beat themselves tonight. Instead of starting like its a playoff game they played like it was game 1 of preseason.
Maroon terrible turnover and horrible timing.
Stupid mistakes. Severson needs to play over a Lovejoy. I expect a fired up Devils team Saturday. Wasn’t Mojo cleared? Have a feeling that guy is done.

That 4th goal really killed their spirits... best picture of the straw breaking the camel's back...

But trying to stay positive. Liked that responded but again, not surprised, our defense is being exploited. There's no getting around it. Lots of bad mistakes, very annoying they still can't get it straighten out.

Andy Greene looks like dead weight... like bad. He and Lovejoy are killing us. Severson needs to be out there and if not, bring on Santini!

That first period was rough, once Devils finally settled in and started playing their game, they did well. Had plenty of chances to come all teh way back and win after digging that 3-0 hole. The stupid penalty by Wood to start 3rd was a killer. Put Severson back in, get Lovejoy out and hiopefully build on what they did most of 2nd and 3rd periods. Only need to get 1 of 2 down there. Let's grab tomorrow's game, come home and hold serve.

4th goal was the backbreaker. It was the result of a bad pinch too, can't gift wrap odd man rushes for them.

There was good and bad from that game. Hopefully got the jitters out of the way, settle down for game 2.

Its disappointing but not disheartening... it sucks but I don't believe yet its an indication of the series...

although tomorrows 3pm ET game will be a big one for me TBH.... that's almost a must win in terms of confidence, morale and winning odds etc...

Hopefully that's something that can be done.
