Absolutely no reason why Venus can't make the SF vs Kerber/Halep

Yup, it is wide open. Hopefully she has enough in the tank. Kerber is playing out of her mind though.

Murray on the men side too. He is in the zone.

Kerber might move Venus around a little more than Halep would.

Still, I like how Venus has played at the FO and Wimbledon.

Agree. If she makes the semis and lose to one of them, I'm completely fine with it. Just don't want her losing in the Quarters to the unranked player she is facing

Raonic and Goffin going to a 5th set.

Macaroni and Vesnina looks like it could go on for another few hours since it's 6-6 in the 3rd, and neither can seem to hold serve.

Congrats Venus!

Really? A woman cant hold serve? We are all shocked!

Whoever wins this 3rd set in the Vesely/Berdych match better win in 4. If not they'll be back tomorrow afternoon for the 5th

Now Vesely is choking. Up 6-1 with 5 set points and he failed to convert

4th set tiebreak, Vesely lead 6-1, then Berdych won the next 5 points.

Vesely then faced several match points in the tiebreak.

He would still go on to win the tiebreak, 11-9.

Play should have been suspended before the tiebreak.

Any of you guys know how big the jump will be for Sam in the latest rankings next Monday assuming he doesn't win another match at Wimbledon? He's currently at 41

I tried doing an internet search of possible rankings jump, but couldn't find anything. What @cezero said is probably right.

Maybe the broadcasters might have projected something during the broadcast, but if they did, I missed it.

Tsonga had a very good chance to beat Murray at Wimbledon in 2010 and 2012. Those were close matches IMO.

I am not as hopeful this will be as close of a match, but we will see.

I'd like veterans such as Tsonga and Berdych to get to another major final, they've been consistent for so long.

Tsonga has 12 major QFs or better. USO is the only one he hasn't made the SF. 6 SFs or better.

Berdych has 14 QFs or better. 5 SFs or better.
