If im Riley, I'm hoping Wade crosses the line that lets me call his bluff.

The shot of making the Finals , let alone winning it is a pipe dream the next 3-4 years.

He is requesting money the Heat doesn't currently have. They would need to trade a rotation player in McRoberts (who I know sucks) for nothing on a team that already is down 3 rotation players from last year and possibly 4 if Bosh is done. Makes no sense

I thought he'd stay at OKC, but as more time passed by after the second meeting with OKC, I began to really believe that he was leaving. I thought to myself that if he's going back to OKC, there would've been a quick announcement not too long after that second meeting. But then I was thinking it would be fitting if he really surprised us and picked the Heat or Spurs.

My guess is Riley gives him the 45-46/2, just because it really changes nothing.
You cannot give him 3+ at that average price.

Then, Wade will miss half the season, we'll miss the playoffs, and all will be FINE, next summer.
