What must hurt OKC the most is they probably gets Horford if KD made a decision a few days earlier

I hope TD does in fact retire.....I'd hate to see him go out like Kareem. That was just sad.

Yet.....you were telling me it's only been 3 days.....

It wasn't a long time at all but top free agents does not sit around and wait on other top free agents to make moves so basically you have to go all in on one top free agent and hope you get him. If you miss out on that free agent you're likely picking up crumbs. 3 days is nothing but Horford wanted to make his decision Saturday night. That's life

Of course Presti is going to be classy, Thunder one of the classiest organizations in pro sports. I have said all along it was KDs right to do what he wanted to do. At this point I am 100 % confident he knew he was doing this during the season, which makes me wonder what all was going through his head in game 6 when he played pretty bad. He had to be pretty conflicted.

You can tell a lot about a man's character from his responses. I like Presti a lot. Very good GM and a smart guy. He'll end up at a bigger and better franchise one day. Wouldn't mind him on the Lakers replacing Kupchak when he retires.

He can't sign long term in OKC. In fact, the reason Horford never seriously considered OKC was because of the lack of long term commitment from Durant and Westbrook.

He absolutely could have signed long term in OKC, but it would have cost him some money to do it this FA vs. next and he would have been risking Westbrook leaving after next season while he still had 4 years left.

if i was an okc fan i would tell him to go fuck himself walking around acting like a loyal bible thumper selling chicken soup with dear old mom and playing up the small market thing only to waive the white flag after going to game 7 because as the team leader he failed to come up big when the team needed him.

I get why Heat fans hate lebron and why cavs fans hated lebron when he was in miami....if okc fans wished nothing but losing and draymond green practice nut shots for durant from now until eternity i would fully support it.

This could diminish Draymond's role. He likes to take the ball up some and handle the ball. He might never get to touch it EVER. Klay and Curry both thrive on hotstreaks shooting wise, they wont get to touch the ball as much, as KD wont either. It might take a good while for this team to play as a team, kinda like Miami the first year but they are damn good. The depth is lacking other than Iggy and Livingston though.

So the Warriors starting 5 is:

Green
KD
Iggy
Klay
Curry

Their bench is Livingston and rookies. They can sign MLE guys but that's it and a trade is going down to rid Bogut to sign KD.

They'd stay Iggy off the bench. KD just replacing Barnes in the starting five. And Pachulia could be the starting C

WOW!!!

Looks like Wade is serious about exploring his options. It would be seriously weird to see him in anything but a Heat jersey.

????

The offense goes through both Green and Curry. At times, it goes through Green more than Curry.

The guy is Mr. Heat, the face of the franchise. It would be very strange. I expect him to finish with the Heat and have some sort of post-playing career Heat role.

Considering Milwaukee can only offer him 11 million per year at the moment. He would look really stupid to go there. If money is all he's concerned about just go to Denver and call it a day. That's the only team who can currently offer him more yearly than Miami. I'm also not sure how many years is he realistically expecting. He's turning 35 in January. Good luck getting anything more than a 3 year deal. Most teams will likely offer him a 1 or 2 year deal at his age

Everyone is gonna get up less shots. Draymond will handle the ball a lot less. I think everyone in general will have the ball less.

He has no option to win, anywhere, unless he plays for nothing.
He's not going anywhere.
