The team learned that the superstar free agent had eliminated it from consideration as he continued to meet with suitors and narrowed his choices. Durant informing the Clippers they were out of contention before making his final decision was a favor in that it allowed them to start executing their fallback strategy of retaining as many of their own free agents as possible. They commenced that portion of their plan by reaching agreements to bring back reserves Austin Rivers and Wesley Johnson.

i dont think Durant likes Curry and those guys. I think hed rather beat them with CP and Griff and Jordan....iuve heard that the lebron/durant/melo- kind of old guard contingent really doesnt like curry taht much and his arrogance and how the media covered him and stuff.....just saying what i have read.

In other words they're jealous of his success

2 days into free agency and I'm still shocked at the amount these role players are getting.

I don't like you.

I give the Mozgov signing a solid C. Deng a C+ or B-.

Mozgov signing is a D, sorry my friend.

I don't know who started that silly rumor about the last 2 Seasons being Team options.

But, since that has been debunked, it's a D until he averages a double double.

I LOVE the Deng signing.

He is perfect....give him a B plus for now and a A plus if it translates on the court.

He averaged almost 15ppg and 9rpg vs the Warriros in the Finals the first time GS played Cleveland. In 30-32mpg with LA he should be able to put up 10-12ppg, 8-9rpg, and a few bpg. That's not a crazy stat line, especially when you look at his per 36 minute career numbers.
