well, I DO still question this Mozgov deal(calmed down quite a bit now:lol:), but I still believe in Mitch. we'll see how the rest of this goes...

Mitch is not the problem.

Again, in this climate, the money Mosgov got isn't bad, it's the years.

But, sometimes you have to compromise.

So the Kings a "reportedly" interested in Dion Waiters.

Rondo, Boogie and Waiters on one team with terrible attitudes..

ugh

btw, i'm wondering if the Lakers are gonna have Zubac on their Summer League roster...

I don't know if he requires a buyout from the team he's playing for.....or if they leave him over there? I was under the impression he'd be coming to the team.

I think he can get close to those numbers but I dont see double double. 9-6 maybe 8-6.

Which would be perfectly fine. You have to consider just how bad the Lakers have been at that position.

Hell, you or I would be an upgrade.

Purguy most definitely is.

If it was a 6 year deal I might agree......the only thing I can think of (since he was first one they went after) is they targeted him so that he could start for a few seasons and mentor Zubac (their center they got in 2nd round who has a lot of upside) until he's ready to take over.

Nobody is expecting the Lakers "to win" much next season. 35-38 wins, 40 at the max would be considered a success since they have a young starting lineup with Russ, Clarkson, Randle, and Ingram (if he starts).
I never said 5 and 5. Stop making stuff up. That is 3 post u try to throw me under the bus and all are lies. All Im saying he isnt a double double guy and he isnt that good. His best year was when he was 27 years old where he went for 10 and 6. I see him at 8 and 6 now and thats if he stays on the court.

Mitch better have a plan to fill out the bench with the 34 million we have left.
U are better off saving some money for next year. Nice class next year. That is what my bulls are doing. we can land 2 max next year.

Mosgov might be the Lakers version of Bogut, but Bogut isn't worth 16mil either. Of course saying "player X isn't worth the money he got" will be a recurring theme this offseason.

You have to take into account the cap increase effect. Mozgov's equivalent salary under the old cap would be approx $11m per season.

Cap going up again next year.

You should be fine.

Not saying you have a Curry on your roster.

But, nobody wanted to go to the Warriors until they added Bogut and developed the youngsters.

They showed promise, drafted well...then they got Iggy's and Shawn.

Sometimes you have to roll the dice and build slowly.

I was under the impression that he was a free agent, which is why he didn't want to get stashed overseas. Regardless, that's a short window to get things tidied up and move to the US (games start in one week).
