That might be the worst contract so far. Noah is a close 2nd because it was 4 years for 18 mill.
I really wanna make fun of the Lakers for that, but I'm expecting the Kings to give out one or two bad contracts before the offseason ends.

Great job by the Heat to keep Whiteside. Over paid a little but they had to. Im ok with it. He isnt a 24 mil a year player but most are not. These contracts are too crazy now.

DeRozan got an obscene amount for a guy that isn't a good shooter or passer.

Yeah the point of that post wasn't "poor LeBron".

Its just a crazy illustration of the salary cap spike.

I know..
But its crazy, the talent that allows him to make all of that outside money could allow him to play for nothing to stack a team and it wouldn't even dent him..

yeah but Raptors needed to keep him. Same for Heat signing whiteside. Those teams couldnt let those guys get away.

Mozgov better live up to this contract.

Define live up to?

He will be 30 in a few days.

Upside passed him by about 3 years ago.

I think you will get production in the area of Zaza Pachulia.

He was a huge reach this early with the dearth of Centers available.

On the plus side, seems like a character guy with very little mileage.

Plus, He's better than Hibbert who got a million less last Season.

10-12ppg, 9-10rpg, and 2bpg in 32-33mpg is what I expect. Double-double basically and some other experts think he can as well. Zubac can back him up.

I'm okay with the Mozgov pickup but why the fuck wouldn't the Lakers have talked to Gasol?

He would have been perfect on a 2 year deal worth 38-40 million and he could have mentored Zubac.

Because at his age, why in heck would Gasol even consider going through a rebuild?
