Likewise. Murray destroyed him in the 2nd and now up a break in the 4th before play was suspended.

Isner won a massive 2nd set tiebreaker 14-12 after dropping the 1st set

With Cilic losing, Sock side of the draw opened up. He should make the round of 16 IMO

Kerber is gone

All the Italian women are out too except the hot one. A few other upsets as well. Womens tennis continues to be a mess. Should be a cake walk for Serena if she has any stamina left.

Lots of close ones on the mens side but Cilic is the only big upset so far. Querry losing to a kid who never won a pro match is not even a surprise anymore. Surprised how well Raonic played. Clay not his best surface.

I think I gave up on Querry in 2011 lol

Really great win for Jack Sock.

He's in the absolute best shape of his life (finally), and that topspin he gets on the forehand (more than Rafa's) should be a tremendous weapon for him on the surface.

Azarenka is about to lose. Dropped the first set and will need to break Knapp in order to win.

Pretty shocking if this upset happens

A break of serve in Women's tennis when serving for the match. What a shock.

Pretty sure I'm enjoying this more through match cast on the French Open website than I would if I was actually watching this

Just was thinking about this but days like this is when it is actually a good thing the French begins their tournament on Sunday rather instead of Monday like the other GS events. The wash out won't be a big deal since we have 2 more days left of 1st round play

Most of the time, I wish the 1st round wasn't stretched out, just because I want the next rounds to start sooner.

But you're right, if there's rain delays, then having the extra day helps make sure the schedule still runs on time, because of the 3 day buffer.

Also, from a business point of view, having the FO span 3 weekends helps with fans.

Can't watch because I'm at work but keeping tabs on scores. Stan is in a 5th set

I'm caught up now as of matches completed through 4 hours ago.

* Cilic lost in the 1st round.
* Wawrinka almost did. Glad to see him pull it out. He started moving Rosol around more, as the conditions got warmer.

* I don't like comebacks from huge deficits in NBA or MLB. But I like comebacks in tennis, from down 0-2 sets, because you can lose 2 sets 7-6 7-5. You can still be competitive while losing 2 sets. Whereas in the NBA, being down 20 points or 4 runs in MLB, there was a portion where the game wasn't competitive.

So fun to watch a comeback from down 0-2 sets.

Murray and FED have the most career ones.

This isn't updated for today's match, so Murray now has 7.

Five Set Comebacks

Oh wow, that site is way outdated. Murray has 9.

I'd like to see the full list.

* Disappointed Kerber lost, would have liked to see a better run.

* Wish Tennis Channel would have shown the Isner match. They only showed a 30 second recap of it. How could they not show the 26 point tiebreaker, especially since they talked about it afterward? Isn't that why people watch, to watch an exciting tiebreaker?

Is that how you saw the Isner match? Because it wasn't on Tennis Channel, as far as I could tell, when scrolling through the DVR.
