I made it past Christmas before even looking too deeply into this years draft as it effects the Flyers.
As it stands right now the Flyers have the:
One 1st round pick, two 2nd round picks, one 3rd round pick, one 4th round pick, one 5th round pick, two 6th round picks, one 7th round picks.
That is 5 picks in the top 100, 3 picks in the top 60.
This will undoubtedly change as I am sure some players are moved out at the deadline and then the trade frenzy at the draft itself.
This draft is supposed to be fairly deep. There is the obvious #1 in Auston Matthews, several exceptional players in Europe, some 2nd generation talent in Jacob Chychrun and Matthew Tkachuk. All in all this is the kind of draft where the scouting department can find the B+ players who might get overshadowed.
