Having played center mid for most of my life, it takes one guy who can't pull his weight at midfield to make the whole unit ineffective. You just get sucked in trying to make up for their shortcomings, you get tired much faster, and you can't make the plays you normally would. Beckerman sucks, and he pulls down Bradley's play. Throw someone not playing well like Zusi on the outside, and your whole unit is effed.

Probably why Deuce hasn't been in the game as well
