I disagree.

Injuries can happen to anybody and most are unpredictable. A set and forget league with no bench becomes a ridiculous crap shoot when nothing is done about scoring for injured players. In a regular fantasy game, you replace the player when they get hurt.

My suggestion still means injured players are not scoring as much as when they were healthy, but the zero thing just sucks.

I still think the best solution is eliminating head to head and just using point totals.
and I respectfully disagree T, most of our injuries are completely predictable. RG3 was basically old faithful, you yourself were down on AP becuase of his age and likelihood of injury. Foster, Romo, Rawls, Eifert, Allen, Watkins, Stewart , Jennings, L. Green...all of them are either yearly injury concerns or had some lingering issue going on at draft time. in many cases, choosing them to bust has just as much to do with predicting them to get zeros in multiple games, as it does with predicting them to simply have a bad season, possibly even more so. so giving them zeros is exactly why we draft them, giving them some "half credit" stuff isn't the way to go. . they were drafted expecting zeros, if they get injured , the owner should be rewarded fully. If they don't get injured, the owner is punished by getting good scores..that's by design, it's not a flaw that needs to be fixed. Does it unfortunately apply to those guys who aren't considered injury risks and still miss time due to injury, of course, but such is life and those are we breaks. but to say most are unpredictable, imho, is flat wrong. Most, in fact, could've been very reasonably predicted..becuase those same guys are hurt seemingly every year, or were hurt coming in.

My thoughts exactly on injured players. Some players you just know are going to be injured and that's why you draft them in bust league and avoid then in a league like suicide.

But see, those are not the players who decide the league. RG3 and Foster were early picks for obvious reasons.

I am taking about Decker, Woodhead, Abdullah, K. Allen, Dez, Doug Martin.

These are the type of injuries that decide the league.

Clearly nobody agrees with me, and that is all good. I just won't participate next year because I hate the current settings.

well, we apparently disagree not only as to whether or not the settings are acceptable, but also what is reasonable to expect predicting guys missing time. Martin has missed plenty of games over the years.. reasonable to assume he does again. Keene Allen hasn't played a full season ever, even if his rookie year started with healthy scratches, perfectly reasonable to predict another bad year, Dez has now been hurt 2 years running and has had multiple times where he played and shouldn't have, . Woodhead's career is also checkered weigh injuries, and who a guy his size used the way he is hasn't had more is a mystery, people have been predicting him to get crushed for years.

Not trying to change your mind, just saying that I can't see the issue that you do, and explaining why I can't

Same for suicide league....I really don't see your gripe with the settings.:noidea:

Because in suicide you have a bench. Also, it is a totally different thing losing because of injuries than winning because of them. Too random for me.

Good thing I am first in points. My team might miss the playoffs. I was looking ahead at the schedule and my opponents' byes against are just ridiculous.
