2016 BUST league

He may have the worst team today, but the that does not mean he will win. The team that sustains 3-5 injuries will win. That is why I wanted to find a way to make sure injured players score some points.

I am not for changing the rules after the draft. So for next year what about 1/2 the points of the worst player at that position each week?

Can't change the rules after the draft. I was thinking half of the injured player's weekly average would be good for next year.

My opponent today has 7 inactive players. The game is over before it even starts. Where is the fun in that?

My suggestion for next season:

Inactive players score 50% of their season average from the games where they were active. That way, injuries still help the owner of the team that drafted them, but they don't automatically make you win.

Hey, how about if we add a bench and a rule that you have to start active players?

Of course, that wouldn't help if the bench was dead as well...but something along those lines would make for some interesting Bizarro type strategy.

Still does not change my suggestion that we need to change that rule for next year.

What I fear with creating a bench spot is that people wont change their lineup, or even worse they wont start the players that are to score less...

I don't think there is a way for the computer to penalize for injury... If there is then that is certainly a route we can take...

The other solution, which I am not sure if it exists, but there is BEST ball in many fantasy leagues, maybe we can implement that here somehow...

I don't want a bench spot. I think the commish can manually change scores for injured players. If not in the game itself, then at least add them in after the fact for our own records.
