Get rid of the game until the end of the season like the NFL.
The players have also turned that game into a mockery.
It's now an exhibition vs any competition.

^^^THIS^^^

I always liked the NBA All Star game more than the other All Star games because the first 3 quarters were and offensive exhibition, but then they would get fairly serious for the 4th quarter. It was fun watching the best in the game show off for awhile and then get down to trying to win.

Now, it's just 4 quarters of showing off.

I have never seen a 24 year old rest more than Kyrie Irving. I can't image the DNP-Rest days he will get at the age of 28

To be fair, he did leave their last game because of a knee issue.
Lots of players are day to day.
If he's not feeling near 100%, he shouldn't play IMO.

Just because those 2 don't, doesn't mean James shouldn't though IMO.

The players are making all this extra cash because of the TV deal.
It's really a slap in the face.

They're talking about adding 4, 5 and 10 point shots. :L

I think the last time they took it serious was when Wade broke Kobe's nose

Even funnier that they won't sit Tristan because of his streak, like it's so important.

In reality it ended last year when they put him in just for the opening tip, then pulled him.

Honestly, I think a lot of has to do with so many of these guys being friends off the court. Most of the old perennial all star players didn't become friends until after, or at least the end, of their careers.

Now, these guys grow up playing with and against each other in AAU ball and form friendships. Nothing necessarily wrong with that other than it kind of hurts the game because they want to team up and make their own AAU teams in the NBA and are concerned about showing each other up in a meaningless game like the all star game.

Would be awesome if the Lakers got the #1 pick and took Fultz or Jackson. I'd love to see what LaVar had to say.
I honestly think the best thing for Lonzo would be to go to a Team outside of California.

Lavar can't be in 2 places at one time and needs to micromanage the two that are still at Chino Hills.

Magic and Jeanie ain't having this Stage Mother crap.

I was looking forward to seeing him play in person.

But, NBA League Pass will do.

I know ABC/NBA is missed after the SAS/Warriors letdown.

But, If the Clippers lose today...

I'm leaning Jackson for the Lakers. I don't think a team can go wrong with any of the 3, but I like Jackson's defense better.

I cannot stand Lavar Ball. It's one thing for him to believe in his kids, but the way he looks for headlines just drives me...
I'm disgusted that the media is giving him so much attention.

He was a shit athlete and is trying to live vicariously through his kids.

It's fucking sad.

I'm pretty sure, as we speak, he's trying to find a Kar-trashian for one of them to date.

I like Fultz and Deangelo can play off the ball.

But, you can't go wrong like you said.

I'm interested in seeing what they do with Houston's pick.

Steady not spectacular guy like Ivan Rabb or high risk/high reward Harry Giles?

This shit is fucking ridiculous. You rested Lebron because u didn't want him to have a heavy work from love and irving being out. WHAT@@!!!! This shit pisses me off to the highest level. Now to Lebron credit, he wanted to play. It's Lue being overly cautious.

You don't really believe James lobbied to play?

Sounds better though.

Why don't those clowns just stay in the locker room vs sitting on the bench and totally disrespecting the players on the court?

They did the same shit in Miami.

What the fuck can be so funny about watching your teammates get their brains beat out because you chose to rest?

The Clippers are leading, 47-31, at halftime vs the Cavs.
