Damn, that's not bad..lol
With a guy like Crowder in the second string, maybe send Iggy out for Tyson Chandler?
I just want the Celtics to get better as soon as possible.
The Nets pick though might be flipped for Nerlens Noel in Scalabrine's Trade Idea. It's not a rumor.
I think honestly if the Warriors were offered Bradley/Crowder/Noel for Klay, they would have to at the very least consider it. I want to say they don't pull the trigger, but man, that's a haul for him. Bradley and Crowder are controlled at ridiculously cost effective prices. Considering Iguodala would be a free agent at the end of the year they get a more than servicable replacement for him in Crowder. Noel would be their center of the future and their rim protector. Bradley is their defensive stopper next to Steph. They lose out on a lot of shooting though with Klay, but that's offset with a likely larger role for both KD and Steph, with Draymond chipping in more.
Interesting idea to say the least.

Yeah, it probably doesn't make sense for the Celtics to give up all that cheap talent and a first round pick. However, Klay's contract is considered a bargain these days.
An article on masslive.com felt that the Celtics would be giving up a lot if they did this trade.
It does because Boston needs to get a homerun type of player.
They didn't get Durant.
They are not getting Blake or Davis.
Klay is a hell of a consolation prize and kinda perfect seeing as he's locked into a contract and they need a shooter.
Would you do it?
I love Crowder.
To get a guy that can defend in the backcourt to replace Klay, in Bradley, add Crowder and get rim defense in Noel?
Yeah....I love that deal for the Warriors.

I think it is. The team played well when he was in there. He made everybody better, as advertised. The problem is the Celts have no depth to speak of so we look pretty rough when two key starters go down. I don't think we can beat the Cavs or anything but we have just as good a shot as anybody in the East when healthy imo. The rebounding issue is glaring, but Danny does t need to make a huge splash to sure that up a bit. I'm personally all aboard the Faried train, and have been for a while.Danny Ainge better do something. Even w/ the addition of Horford that's still not enough to make any noise come playoff time.

If we won two playoff series I would be extatic. Even one series would be better than the 1st round bounces of the last two years lol.The sad thing is I'll consider it a good season if the Celtics could win a playoff series or two. And good point about the current depth.

yah i would love that deal for the Warriors too- esp. since Crowder is one of the better options to defend LeBron- and Bradley can give you at least 75% of what thompson does---- and of course if its Noel you get a big who can run, finish in the break, defend the rim, and defend the p n r.Would you do it?

I hate, and I mean hate Dwight. But I'd love to have him right about now. I'm not sure he'd look quite as rejuvenated if he weren't back home in ATL though. No doubt. Although I am happy Dwight Howard didn't end up in a Celtics uni. That would have pissed me off.

I doubt it happens too, and it's a tough call. Klay offensively is still a big upgrade from Bradley just in terms of the potential for explosive points in bunches. I'd be ok with it I think. I'd miss the he'll out of Crowder though. The other thing, is the damned Nets are winning. If they keep it up the pick Wil continue to lose more and more value. I wonder if trading it now or soon isn't a bad idea. Maybe not in this "deal", but somewhere else.i doubt it happens. is thompson really that much better than bradley that you give up crowder and his deal and that nets pick? i certainly dont think so.
