And you have displayed some very solid efficiency in being a homer.
why? by saying LeBron has improved his effieciency quite a bit his 3rd year i nCleveland as opposed to his first two years here? lol

Its just amazing to me that LeBron- at this point in his career- still finds things he can improve and works on them- its the mark of a truly all-time great talent.

I gotta tell ya- i didnt expect LEBron to shoot damn near 40% from three this year- i didntthi nk he was the 31%# pt shooter from last year either.

For a guy with his size and athletic ability to have that kind of weapon at his disposal this year is a BIG DEAL. If you cant even give LeBron a 3- what can you take away?

So, the Clippers got blown out by the Timberpups, but beat the Celtics who took down the Warriors, who beat the Clippers like they stole something?

If Chris Paul does not go to the Spurs this Summer he's a fucking idiot.

i would never get a tattoo.

actually - i take that back- if WWIII ever happened, and there was a draft and i was pressed into service- i could see myself getting a very very small, very very hidden military tattoo- but that is the only tattoo i could ever contemplate.

Only 4 players should be considered.
LeBron, Khawi, Westbrook, Harden.

My vote as of today would be Harden.
Better w/l record over Westbrook.
Plays everygame, which IMO has to be held against the other 2.
I totally agree with this.

My order would be Harden, Bron, Kawhi, RW------ and thats someone who is a CAVS fan, and a huge RW fan- saying that Harden deserves it.

so many people got on Hardens case last year- and those same people look like fools right now.

Yeah his 3 point shooting has been amazing this year. I never thought I would see him go 6 for 10 from 3 in a game lol.

The thing I worry about most is the team defense. I know getting back JR will help but I just haven't seen the championship defense for awhile now. Hopefully when they get healthy we will start seeing that great defense again before the playoffs.

You really need a King James neck tat.

My MVP vote would be Harden as well. It has gotten to the point where is just unstoppable on offense and more efficient than RW. His passing has become lethal too and is doing everything, well he still needs to work on the defense.

I would also put RW 4th in the MVP voting just bc his efficiency isn't there.

1. Harden
2a. Lebron
2b. Leonard
3. RW

i think the decline in team defense is HUGELY a function of the injuries and the turnover on the team. If they can get everyone on the same page, get healthy bodies out on the court, and get some chemistry- i think they will be just fine defensively.

its tough for them right now dealing with JR's injury (and JR was a damn good 2way player last year), Loves' injury (and his defensive rebounding- which actually puts him a lot higher then you would imagine in most all defensive metrics), adding in 3 guys- Korver, Williams and Williams- etc.....

They need to get their full team- or at least close to their full team out there and get comfortable with eachother. thats nearly impossible to do with guys in and out of the lineup - and adding rotation players like both Williams' and Korver.

i dont think its his efficiency for RW- as much as there is very very little precedent for giving the MVP to a guy on a team with such a low seed. It would go against a LOT of NBA history. just my opinion though.

I really think there's a good chance for LeBron, especially if the Cavs finish ahead of the Rockets. His numbers are on par with Harden/Westbrook, but with much better efficiency.

Kawhi doesn't have a chance, imo. He's having an incredible year, but with the assist/rebound numbers the other guys are putting up... he has no shot.

1. Harden
: 29/11/8, 44%/36%,
2. LeBron: 26/9/8, 54%/40%
3. Westbrook: 32/11/10, 42%/34%
4. Kawhi: 26/3/6, 49%/39%

Agreed.

Harden and Russ are pretty similar on their numbers, including efficiency.

The big difference is that Harden has his team competing for a top seed.

I think this season is the turning point for Erik Spoelstra in terms of how he will be viewed.

Fair or not, perception before this season was that he was just a guy who lucked out when Bron and Bosh came to town. Of all the championship coaches out there, he was viewed the least favorably I think.

That all changes now. If trends continue, he will have taken a team headlined by Whiteside, Dragic, & Waiters from an 11-30 record to a winning season and a trip to the playoffs.

No, I saw it.

Both he and Blake said it.

But, I think it's a horrible decision.

Chris is not one of my favorite players.

But, he legitimized the Clippers.

So, I would like to see him actually win before his career is over.

Kiwi's defense is leaps and bounds above the other 3 candidates though

my top 5 is

1. Harden
2. LeBron
3. Kawhi
4. Waiters
5. Spoelstra
6. everybody else in the league
7. Westbrook

Hes sat 5 games which equals 5 losses and more to follow.

In theory that makes him obviously more valuable to his team, but it also makes him responsible for the losses.
