Big picture this, big picture that, tell us again how many Super Bowl games the Heat have won this year?

one thing i'll say on the subject ESPECIALLY as far as the playoffs go, quoting Turnup, it's all about matchups. and looking at these last 2 games i'm starting to think the Cavs simply don't match up well with the Heat. not declaring the Cavs would get beat if the 2 DID play each other, but i have to say this li'l microcosm of the last 2 games does make one kinda wonder...

Imagine if the Heat had been playing like this from the git-go, but sometimes it takes a while for chemistry to develop...

There is literally, and I mean literally, not one doubt in my mind, that if the Heat get the 8 seed (they'll get the 7), and the Cavs get the 1 seed, the Heat win that series in 6 games, and you can take that to the bank.

Agree. If we have a Heat/Cavs first round, I don't think the Heat can beat the Cavs 4/7. I'd be mildly surprised if the Heat even won a game and completely shocked if they won more than 1 game.

Having said that, the fact that the Cavs are what? 4-6, 4-7 vs. the Heat since Lebron left, should be somewhat concerning for the Cavs. As you said, it's about match ups and for some reason, the Heat appear to match up well with the Cavs.

The Cavs wouldn't be the first elite team to have match up problems with teams that, on paper, they should be able to beat easily. I can remember the Showtime Lakers and the Shaq/Kobe Lakers having to face a couple of teams like that. The Spurs vs. the Clippers comes to mind as well.

The thing with the Heat is, which team are they? The one that went 11-30 or whatever through the first half of the season or the one that's what? 20-4 since then? I want to say somewhere in between, but the needle seems to be moving closer to the 20-4.

dude, in a playoff series? with the Cavs taking it seriously, getting Love and Jr back? the Heat will have ZERO chance against the Cavs.

ZERO- you know that, i know that, all the Heat fans know that- anyone that watches the NBA knows that. Shit- Pay Riley and Spoelstra know that.


the Cavs would have at least the 3 best players in the series. One of them being The King. You would be better off just being in the lotto then the shellacking you would receivea t the hands of The King of the NBA.
