1) Whoever said Luke Babbit was good? I have not seen @TurnUpTheHeat or I say that.

2) We had a wonderful 4 years with those guys. Likely win 3 titles if not for the Lebron choke job vs Dallas.....Life goes on and if not for Bosh medical condition, we would have had another set of good years ongoing

3) When you win 14 of 16 after starting 11-30, there is clearly some good things about this team. You don't win 14 of 16 in this league by mistake.

Just that fool once again making shit up.
I thought @trojanfan12 has repeatedly warned him about that?

I'm sure he was ready to pounce and troll thinking the Heat would lose tonight.
Since that didn't happen , he was forced to go in another direction.

IT tied Havlicek's Celtics record of 40 straight 20pt games tonight.

Warriors looking very close to losing 2 games in a row for the first time in forever. Sacto outhustling them, and Draymond got himself ejected.

Kings been playing better recently despite not having Rudy Gay, Garrett Temple, and Ty Lawson. I highly doubt they win tonight, but at least the Kings played well enough to lead at halftime.

Yeah, the Ws decided to play hard and do one of their patented 3rd quarter beatdowns

What I expected the last time these teams played, the 4 game win streak was nice while it lasted.

Warriors I know you're upset the Kings beat you and that Draymond was ejected, but that beating was uncalled for. Show some restraint damn it, the Kings couldn't even defend themselves.

It was dunk city. Even Derrick Jones Jr. got his first three dunks of the season in the final 90 seconds.

Also lol at Russell trying to salvage a horrific game by chucking up every posession he got in garbage time. What a joke

Remember when Lakers fans tried to debate that Russell > Booker last year? lol

That's been settled now.

That cumbag is always making shit up. He constantly spins whatever narrative he could find that would pain the Heat in the most negative light. He can't get passed his own biased nature. And then he goes crying to other posters for sympathy when he has his little runs like this.

Very good win for Miami!

That's a tough team and on the road too!

Rockets ain't no slouch and will give the Spurs hell if they meet in the second round.

Assessing the Cavaliers at the All-Star break

nice article from McMenamin summing up some of the challenges and high spots of the "first half" of the NBA season for the Cavaliers. They have definitely had to deal with some adversity- but this team seems to thrive on it- and in the grand scheme of things- 2 years ago they were 19-20 at one point, last year they fired their coach....this year there has been some rough spots- but when put in perspective its been smooth sailing compared to years 1 and 2 of the LeBron/Kyrie era.

"Of course, that list fails to mention James, Love and Kyrie Irving all playing well enough to be named All-Stars. Or the team's honor of being the last NBA title-winner to visit the White House while President Barack Obama was in office. Or their Christmas Day win over the Warriors thanks to Irving's clutch jumper. Or their 7-1 record against the teams currently seeded Nos. 2-5 in the East. Or the addition of Kyle Korver, who is shooting 52-for-101 from 3-point territory since joining the Cavs. Or, on a 10-day contract, the find of the century in Derrick Williams, who has completely revolutionized Cleveland's second unit as a big, floor-spacing offensive machine and switch-everything defensive group."

I really like this Kyrie quote- i think he puts it sums it up really well:

"I think everyone is in a comfortable place," Irving said. "It just takes time. It takes time to integrate another guy into the team, to fill in a particular thing that we're looking for. Our identity was all over the place, guys were going down, guys were in and out of the lineup. It was a learning experience in January; coming into February we're just a great team again by all accounts. We've stayed the course and understood that everything that happens in this locker room all matters to us and we're completely honest and trust each other. When we're playing at a high level, we're tough to beat."

Booker is a going to be a big time star. I cant believe that kid still cant legally get a beer at a bar.

Suns have a lot of nice pieces but I think they need to try and make a couple trades--- PJ Tucker and Dudley- i would think- would have some really nice value on the trade market. ESPECIALLY Tucker.

I still dont think you understand despite numerous posts about it- I WANT the Heat to win- I WANT the Heat to get the 8 seed- because that means they dont get a lotto pick, and i get to watch them play the Cavs and THE Tristan Thompson. I am ROOTING for them to win right now. I would be overjoyed to see the Cavs face them in the first round.

isnt that dude in the dunk contest?

and i gotta say- it was a nice win- but i think since the power shake up in LAL- its fairly clear they are putting a high priority on trying to keep their pick- over winning. I wouldnt expect the Lakers to win a whole lot more games- especially on the road- and i think thats probably by design.

its just such a HUGE difference for them---- i mean- i cant remember anything like it in the NBA...

the difference between A. not getting a top 3 pick- and sending it to the Sixers, and then sending a 1st rounder to the Magic in 2019....or B. keeping a top 3 pick in a LOADED draft, and not owing Orlando a first rounder.

basically 2 first round picks are on the line- one of them being a top 3 pick in a draft that has some GREAT talent at the top.

I totally understand if the Jeanie/Magic contingent wants to increase their odds of keeping those picks.

IF they keep those picks - that opens up some current guys on the roster for trades if they get the right deal offered to them.
