Warriors, especially Zsa Zsa were baiting him, yanking his jersey, etc.. all game.
He did a great job ignoring it.
That's not baiting him- all guys get their jersey's pulled. Curry is probably the #1 candidate of that from defenders though.

She agreed that the Celts & the Lakers have the same chance at winning this season- which just happens to be a very low %. And she's saying it's embarrassing since the Celts seem to be a good team- while Wiggy & now you- are saying the Lakers pretty much suck.
It's not embarrassing for the Celtics the same way it's not embarrassing for the Raptors or the Clippers. It just is what it is.

Though I don't like the Lakers, I'm not saying they suck. I just like Boston's current team, and immediate future picture better.

..

I totally understand- Jr Smith as the 2nd option- is a nightmare...Jr Smith as the 4th option and playing in his defined role is a very valuable player.

That is the only time I've seen JR reverting to his poor shot/gunner self -- when the Cavs are missing 1 or 2 of their big 3. JR was pretty ugly earlier this year when 2-3 of them sat.

Who said they were turning things around this year? :noidea:

I don't know the exact number but at least someone was arguing that the Lakers would win 30 or 35 or 40 games or something crazy.

probably @DJ would be my guess.

He was posting in here quite a bit early on while the Lakers were doing well...now @DJ is a ghost on the NBA boards.

Relax. New pieces with a new coach......it's gonne take time. The Lakers aren't nearly as good as their 6-5 start would indicate but you don't see me predicting 45-50 wins.

Still firm believer we'll get 33-37, maybe an outside shot of 40-41.

LOL @ keeping the #1 pick. No chance the Lakers will be that bad.

They have been stockpiling talent and they hired a new coach (only time will tell if he's the right choice, I love Luuuuuuke but it's a tough call right now), it's time to show some serious improvement. They'll win 32-34 games. And if they ball out, I could see them being right around .500.

This young team is going to surprise a lot of people now that Kobe's gone and they have a chance to shine.

he also said in September that Lebron was a "borderline top 10 player"....so- take that for what you will...lol.

Which team do you have? Man it's tough to choose, but I think I go US. Because 'Murica.

Also Booker is a beast and the best scoring guard of both rosters. Bigs I think are closer to even with Towns and Embiid opposite of each other. KP and Jokic are also beasts though.

Cavs reportedly turned down a Melo for Love deal. I gotta say, I understand that Melo is older, but man, Kyrie/Melo/Bron/Frye/TT?!? or Melo at the 4. Melo can still get buckets with the BEST of em. I say the Cavs should atleast consider it more

I don't think adding Melo would get them past the better teams. He doesn't play defense consistently so when they'd be facing the better offensive teams the Cavs would be giving up a lot.

lol, and sadly they're still only 5 games out of the 8 seed.

Why is no one talking about how bad the bottom of the West is the way they talked so much shit about the East over the past 5 years?

30-35 wins would show marked improvement, but not that they've turned things around. The 10-10 start got some folks excited and there were even a couple of folks who mentioned playoffs. But I think that most folks knew that start was fools gold. They caught a lot of teams by surprise.

It's no surprise that things became a lot more difficult for them once they hit 20 games. That represents about 1/4 of the season and by that time, everyone had either played them or had film on them. So teams adjusted. Injuries hitting them didn't help matters much either.

They are still on pace to get to the 25-30 win mark if they can get healthy and continue to develop. Although it looks like the best thing for them would be to finish with a bad enough record to keep their lottery pick.

Heck, they are sitting on 16 wins right now. Last year, it took them every one of 82 games just to win 17, so unless they lose every single game for the rest of the season, they have already improved over last year.

Well, same applies for Love, so then it comes down to offense, which is why I'd atleast consider it more

Very true- which is why I think the trade would just be a wash. I'm not convinced Melo would be a better fit offensively. I think it would be something like it did when they were trying to fit Love in that first season. Why go back through that when they finally got Love comfortable in their offense?

I agree that its at least worth consideration. I think Melo is much better than his current perception.

Report: Cavs have no interest in trading for Knicks' Carmelo Anthony

The idea of the Cavs trading Kevin Love for Anthony is hilarious. Love is in the middle of his best season since he left the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he's four years younger than Anthony. There is no indication Cleveland is trying to trade Love, but if the front office were to move him, you'd think general manager David Griffin would be looking primarily for a versatile, two-way player. Anthony is not that, and this kind of swap would hurt the Cavs' rebounding, ball movement, spacing and defense.

If Love isn't involved, it's extremely difficult to make a trade work. Would the Knicks consider Tristan Thompson and Iman Shumpert to be a good return for Anthony? Would Cleveland even be willing to part with Thompson? The idea of Shumpert, J.R. Smith or Channing Frye returning to Madison Square Garden in a lopsided Anthony trade is funny, but it's not particularly realistic.

As stupid as all of this sounds, it is actually pretty fun to imagine Anthony on this particular Cavs team -- as long as Love gets to stay. Anthony would get more open looks than he's had in years, and coach Tyronn Lue would have him exploit one-on-one mismatches the way he did in last year's playoffs. Despite all the pressure on the team, Anthony would carry much less of an individual burden than he does now. I don't blame people for thinking about how he'd fit, even though it's almost certainly not going to happen.

I wish I had an alternative landing spot for Anthony. It's pretty much impossible to find a destination that really makes sense for both New York and the other side.

Because only a game or two separates the bottom teams in terms of records in both conferences. Hell, the worst team in the league is in the East (nets). They don't even have double digit wins yet.
