No....It'll be virtually impossible.

But, goes to show that not everyone believes Kyrie is the top pg out East.

They have him like 5th....

Isn't that close to what @trojanfan12 and a few others ranked him?

Didn't TF12 say Kyrie isn't even a top 10 PG?

hes def. clutch.

Do you trust him at the end of a playoff game though...down 1, in the new Garden....Shumpert covering him.....

what happens?

One shot?

I trust him.

But, I don't expect them to be in a position to steal more than a game against the Cavs.

So, moot point.

There's no doubt Irving's a damn good NBAer. But he played @ dook so fuck him.
Kyrie has not played great since the year 2017 started....hes had some decent scoring games but i thought he was playing the best ball of his career throughout most of December--- last couple weeks he hasnt been passing the ball as much, not hitting as much....the Cavs offense looks disjointed.

It was a major red flag when the Cavs didnt break 90 against the pathetic Portland defense.

Im not sure of the position.

I thought it was top 7.

The Reporters have him 5th in the East.

Add the Western Conference guys that I rank above him.... Westbrook, Curry, Harden, Maybe Paul and Lillard and that's close to falling out the top 10.

he said hes at best 7 in the league- and lower than that if Harden is considered a PG

hey everyone is welcome to their opinion.

Kyrie will be starting and playing in his 4th all star game at the age of 24, at the end of the year he will get his 2nd All NBA honor, former ROY, Rising Stars game MVP, All Star game MVP, 3-pt shooting champ......multiple 55 point games, starting point guard on the Gold Medal Olympic team. Starting point guard on the NBA Champs. 40 point finals game on the road in GSW.

and oh yah.

he made one of the biggest shots in the history of the entire Association a few months ago.

And I think it's a pretty fair assessment given his inability to lead his team & produce a winning record without LBJ on the floor.

How can a leader not have a winning record when the weight is squarely on his shoulders be considered the best?

hmmmmmm...we just might get to see it this spring...would be fun.

It would only be fun if the Celtics knocked the Cavs outta the playoffs. But I have a better chance of being the next Governor of Colorado before that happens.

Seems like the entire Cavs team's in a funk right now.

I don't know why you're so sure Kyrie is going to make All NBA. There are 3 All NBA teams so we're talking about 6 guard positions. Easily can see Russ, Harden, Steph, IT, Wall, and Lowry, DeRozan, or Klay finishing ahead of him.

Russell's the bestest PG in the NBA! That's be being a biased Buckeye fan. Oh yeah, fuck the Lakers!

The kid is really, really good.

He is a pure scorer.

I used to think he couldn't create for others.

But, he's shown otherwise by getting double digit assists from time to time.

However, with Lebron on the roster, that's not his role.

His role is to be the gunner.

But, doesn't that make him a Rich Man's CJ McCollum with handles?

I don't care to make a wager on stupid things like this. Point is he is not a lock. There is still another 41 games left to play. The only 3 players I'll say are locks at the guard position for All-NBA teams are Steph, Russ, and Harden. The other 3 can go several ways

I'll tell you what, as far as PG's go for a last second shot I'd take Irving over anyone else right now.

All NBA?

I don't know, Russ.

The Writers and Broadcasters vote for those Teams....You know the guys that have him 5th?

Westbrook and Harden, 1st Team.

Curry and Derozan, 2nd Team.

Kyrie, Paul, Wall, Thomas, Klay fighting for Third Team.

\edit to add Kemba, Dame and Cj.

* thanks @bksballer89 *

I don't know.

I can see the similarities. And agree he's a really good individual player.

But, unfortunately he is placed in the PG category and that is where the most competition is. So my expectation-regardless of whether or not he plays with LBJ- is that he lead his team to wins when 1/3 of the big three is on the bench. I don't think that too much to ask- considering the other named PGs lead their teams on a more regular basis.
