I don't know why Wiggy just doesn't get it that not every team wants to win 25 games to get a top 3 pick and pray that person is the next big thing.

That was his mantra for a few seasons (collectiong lottery picks) until James and Love ended up in Cleveland because the picks thing didn't pan out.....flip flopping back and forth between different scenarios.

why? LeBron hardly ever sits at home...Dan G. takes care of his customers thats for sure!

2ndly- i mean- LeBron barely sits at all- i m ean there is a reason why no player has played more games in the league over the last 6 years......

shit- if he sits 6-7 games a year to make sure he is healthy and doesnt get hurt- in the long term you get more out of him.

as the great Benjamin Franklin once said- an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

i have nver flip flopped on the fact that i think the worst situation in the NBA is to be mediocre....I either want my team to be great- or bad enogh to have a good chance at a franchise changing talent.

now- if you have a franchise changing talent and have a solid supporting cast- at some point you need to put it together and move on from tanking mode---kind of like where the Sixers are after this season. After this season they should have PLENTY of assets where they can make progress and start to try and climb that ladder- kind of like the Bucks this season.

once you have a core like Giannis/Parker/Middleton/Maker etc...you gotta start to make your move

with Simmons, Embiid, Okafor, Covington, Saric + a ton of cap room and at LEAST 1 more high lotto pick the Sixers should have plenty to finally start making their move and change the priority from asset acquisition to winning.
