It's certainly possible. It's one game, but if he stays consistent, the 76ers have a good/hard decision to make in terms of him and Okhafor as far as how either of whom figure into their long term plans. Better than not having any centers I suppose.

Oh I think he's better than Okafor, but we'll have to see how his body holds up.

Hawks just gave Dennis Schroeder a four-year, $70 million extension.

I have mixed opinions on this move. On the one hand, if this guy turns out to be as good as I believe he can be, this is a genius move because he would have just ended asking for even more next off-season. On the other hand, if he does not work out, we're now stuck with an overpaid PG and a potentially hard to move contract.

That's surprising. I thought they were smart to wait.

I had always assumed we were going to take a wait-and-see approach on Schroeder and see what happens this season. I guess Coach Bud has been seeing something he really likes during the preseason (I didn't follow preseason at all, so I wouldn't know) and wanted to get him inked before he has the stats to leverage an even bigger deal.

Yeah. Potential, give me Embiid. But his health obviously is the issue. If he manages to stay healthy the whole season while not having any setbacks - I think the sixers trade Okhafor. It would be a bonus if Embiid and Noel actually fit together as it puts the 76ers back on track.
