Returned yesterday from my dad's. Mom's celebration of life went as well as can be expected.

Heard an interesting story that my mom saw a child fall in a pool 50 years ago and she dove in and resuscitated said child. Never knew that before. She loved to swim and was very good at it. Somehow, that story didn't surprise me.

I find Celebration's of life to be much better than funerals, we had one for my older brother, the mood seems to be much better and you get to hear people tell a lot of good stories.

He was only 27, it happened 10 years ago when I was about 16.

He had a rare heart condition, so he was prescribed xanax, and he mixed it with alcohol.

He was the general manager of a popular club around here, AcaFool actually performed at his 27th bday, and I got to meet a lot of cool local athletes and stuff. Was pretty much my last memory of him.

Before all the Warriors bashing that's coming from this game, let's get it straight. This is yet another back to back road game in San Antonio without KD. The Spurs would be favored vs the Warriors in the playoffs without him. If the Warriors hadn't had the luck of the Clippers (!) knocking out the Spurs in 2015 there's no real guarantee they'd have won the West.

If KD comes back and the team looks like they did before he went down, they will be favored to beat SA in the playoffs. If not, SA will be favored.
