dude- no one cares about whiteside- he plays on a crappy team and is irrelevant. Despite being right in the middle of his prime- he is just not one of those guys that can elevate a team. He cares more about his stats and his 2k rating then actually winning.

So he would be better avg 8 and 4? Even thought his team needs him to put up the numbers he's been putting up? As turnup said I guess AD, KAT, and Cousins only care about stats also right? Because putting up big numbers doesn't help your team win or gives them a better chance to win right?

what a clown...maybe you were subbed out because they were kicking your Isiah....the Warriors can make a good defense look just horrible- let alone a defense missing its best wing defender. They def. should have scored more than 88 points though at home against hte Warriros D.
I don't see how this makes him a clown. Stevens did give up, and we played the 4th quarter primarily with non starters except for Bradley. Night one of a back to back when the game is out of hand, I can't really say I blame him.
And, not making any excuses but GS seemed to step it up a bit defensively last night. They had a lot of length on is and we're doubling Isaiah and Avery pretty well.

The disconcerting thing, is that this is at least the 4th game this year where he's said the team gave up. I don't know if it's a coaching or player leadership issue, but ffs, Stop Giving Up!

Our record is terrible BUT:

We've played a very tough schedule.
I believe our average margin of loss is <6.
Weve had injuries, with no depth to begin with.
We have over 25% of our salary cap out with blood clots.

All being said, you can see the talent and hope for the very near future.

Anyone remember the Spurs season when Robinson was out?

I'm pretty sure you didn't see the post game interview since you were at the game but that's basically what Hassan said after the game in his interview with Jason Jackson. Said he's been telling the guys not to get too down because we've been losing to to some of the best teams in the league in close games.

Dwyane Wade's voice resonating on the floor and in the huddle

this was interesting. I have to admit that I am very surprised at how well the Bulls are playing- especially this early in the season with a team that was largely turned over.:

Dwyane Wade was on the bench, so fuming mad that one would’ve thought the play in question lost the game for the Chicago Bulls, or at least put the opposing team in position to tie or take the lead.

Bulls guard Jerian Grant missed an assignment defensively, resulting in a Rudy Gobert putback after a Gordon Hayward 3-point miss when the Bulls were trying to put the Jazz away Thursday in their 85-77 win.

At the next timeout, Wade was letting the second-year guard know those type of gameplan mistakes were “unacceptable”, even though Jimmy Butler hit a jumper on the next possession to give the Bulls a seven-point lead with a minute remaining, effectively putting the game away.

Hey Windy! - ESPN

interesting podcast from windhorst saying how scouts around the league are saying they are terrified of the Cavs lineup that has both Love and Frye in at the 4 and 5.....pretty crazy...pretty much say its unguardable.

its such an important counter to a team- like- get this group together and comfortable during the regular season--- if you see the Hawks in the playoffs- all of a sudden you have Love and Frye in- and Dwight Howard has to guard on the perimeter or you ar going to get rained on from 3....pretty crazy. Love has actually been playing some very solid D thus far.

I have nothing against Wade, and he can be a leader BUT I can't think of any player in the league who has missed more D assignments then him because he stayed at the opposite end of the court crying about non existent fouls.

Funny that Wade's getting on someone for missing defensive assignments. In his last couple of years he'd like to stay around and argue with refs instead of getting back on defense. But I digress.

I'm surprised we haven't seen any signs in visiting Arenas.
I don't think many people care.

Now, if it had been a star, like say a Hassan Whiteside type, then we might have a story.

We don't take rejection well.

Did you see Thomas's comments after the game?

I understand his point. The Clippers tried their damnest to piss away a 25 point lead.

So, it's possible to come back.

But, the Warriors are not the Clippers.

So, with all the injuries to key guys, I understand why Stevens threw in the towel.

It's one game out of 82. Live to fight another day.

Rohrbach: Isaiah Thomas on 3rd quarter: “We gave up. Coaches too, started subbing. I don’t know how I only played 27 minutes. We gave up.”

After the game, Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas voiced his frustration with the Celtics’ coaching staff for going deep into their bench after the Warriors had broken the game open in the third period. “We panicked too fast,” Thomas said. “Any game is winnable. As much as you get up, as fast as you can get up, the faster you can make a comeback. We have a game [Saturday], so we’ve got to turn the page, but we’ve got to be more consistent as players and coaches.”

Yea someone posted this earlier and I commented.

I thought he should've sat Thomas and Bradley anyway. We weren't winning that game last night. And it was game one of a back to back. I don't blame Stevens for pulling starters when it got out of hand.

I love the competitiveness, but not that he said it publicly.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that Wiggy is all of sudden Wade's biggest supporter? Dude was constantly shitting on him the last 2 years but now that he's out of Miami, Wiggy is singing a different tune
