Phil Jackson put his foot in his mouth i see....

LeBron James on whether he has any relationship with Phil Jackson: "Zero. No relationship at all. I had nothing but respect fro him as a coach for what he was able to do. Obviously he was at the helm of (the team featuring) my favorite player of all time, MJ, and also being there growing up and watching him with the Lakers, but I got nothing for him."

LeBron James explained his problem with Phil Jackson's "posse" label referring to him and his business associates: "To use that label, and if you go and read the definition of what the word 'posse' is, it's not what I've built over my career. It's not what I stand for. It's not what my family stands for. And I believe the only reason he used that word is because it's young African-Americans trying to make a difference."

A bit overblown, don't you think?

He didn't call them gang members for goodness sake.

Don't know if it's fact or fiction. But, Lebron's entourage has a reputation for wanting special privileges and being a bit much.

I mentioned this earlier in this thread. They sure are triggered for being called a posse. Not like he called them the N-bomb or un-educated little punks. But they definitely have that millenial "he called me a word that deeply offends me" vibe.

These guys are hilarious.

Outside of Rich, who has actual clients, how many of them have anything going for them, business wise, outside of being attached to Lebron?

Face it fellas, you are the Jackson 5 and Lebron is Michael.

When Lebron retires, it's over.

Does Randy Mims think he's keeping his bullshit job as " The executive administrator of player programs and logistics for the Cavs" after Lebron is gone?

Yeah can't wait for Lebron to retire as it relates to this scenario. Lebron's probably as easy to manage as it is to sell Bama as a football program. As you mentioned, Rich Paul's the only one that seems to have a sustainable career after Bron Bron retires. Although, I'd have to imagine Maverick will be kept around as Lebron's manager post-basketball down the road.

It is of course a small sample size- and its early....that is for sure- Cavs have played 10 games which is just about 10% of the season. Tons of time to go...

LeBron has always led his team in points, and free throws.

Right now- Kyrie Irving leads the Cavs in points, and Kevin Love leads the team in free throws. This is exactly what LeBron envisioned when he came back to Cleveland- pushing more and more of the load on those guys- while he takes advantage of his once-in-a-generation vision by making plays.

just looking at some Lakers stats...

Lou Williams is currently averaging 16.5 pts in 23 minutes a game. WOW. that is hard to do. In hte passed 5 years Lou Williams has shot .407, .422, .400, .404, and .408 from the field. In the previous 5 seasons he has shot .362, .367, .342, .340, .344 from 3. Currently he is shooting 47.2% from the field and 40.7% from 3.

Jordan Clarkson is shooting 51.1% from the field- his previous two years were very respectable .433 and .448 from the field....up to 36.4 from 3, after going 34.7 and 31.4 his first two years.

Mozgov is shooting 64.8% from the field. His last 2 years in Cleveland he was at 56.5 and 59.0

Julius Randle shot 42.9% as a rookie. He is currently shooting 54.5%

Nick Young is fucking shooting 46.4%....last year he shot 33.9, the year before 36.6

the moral of the story? Luke Walton is a lot better than Byron Scott- (he is so bad at coaching)- what a difference a real offensive system makes-----

, and there is likely to be a correction of some sorts at some point.- of course Deng HAS to start playing better becuase he has been atrocious.

Deng's numbers are horrific in relation to his contract.

But, what he and Walton have done for moral and settling down the shenanigans in the locker room?

Priceless.

Watching Cavs vs. Raptors right now is great except for two things:

1) Kyrie Lowry does the stupidest shit and then throws up the weirdest expressions for when he gets T'd up for said stupid shit.

2) Fuck the Cavs for not finding a color commentator better than Austin Carr. He's what I would imagine having a hemorrhoid would feel like.

Looking like another tough defeat to a good team for Miami.

Hope Dwight's okay. We were really hurting for rebounds after he left with an injury.

 @Lebron and his millenial snowflakes crawling into their safe spaces and crying because Phil Jackson called them a posse.

Buncha fhegs.

Have I mentioned how much fun this team is to watch?

From what I'm hearing and reading, at least part of Deng's offensive struggles are due to him focusing mainly on defense.
