Probably at hockey or some dam concert you tell me
Only have kicker left, and I'm killing some time at work until the 3 day weekend. I also enjoyed Joe's write up on his own team, so I'll do the same.
QB Russell Wilson - only knock is run first team, but huge pluses on him being one of those runners and the Jimmy Graham trade. Drafted a WR and found a practice squad guy that looked legit in the post season last year. We may be getting close to seeing a Russell Athletic MVP award in the next few seasons.
Teddy Bridgewater - I said it in the QB sleeper thread, I just think MIN takes a step forward offensively with AP coming back and Wallace acquisition. I mean, how could they not?
RBs LeVeon Bell - please please please get this suspension cut down to 1 or 2 games. Everyone saw him explode last year after shedding some weight. Which is funny, cause his rookie year, I remember being one of many who thought he was too heavy/too much of a plodder to be a fantasy stud, even though he was drafted into a great situation. Dem receiving skills doe! Also, lay off the reefer buddy.
Mark Ingram - A lot of rumors swirling around Naw'lans about converting the Drew Brees aerial attack into the Ingram/Spiller show. We'll see, but I love this guy as my RB2. Could easily put up top 10 numbers this year.
TJ Yeldon - Similarly to Bell, he got drafted into an ideal situation. The Gerhart experiment failed, sorry Foot! Shoelace is a great COP back, but not a 3 down type, imo.
Tre Mason - Back to back years my Rammies take a RB with a valuable pick, but when they take a WR in the first round, its a midget! I'm not so sure that Gurley phases Mason out here. He will in year 2, but not year 1. Fisher and the Rams in general seem to lean towards the slow development route when it comes to rookies. And I really needed an every down back for when Bell is suspended.
WRs Randall Cobb - One of Rodgers' go to guys and even though Jordy is 'the guy', Cobb is always part of the gameplan and hard to take down after the catch.
Keenan Allen - Pretty sure I had him last year too, even though he took a step back. (good call from last spring by @averagejoe, if my memory serves). Another year on Gates' body, and I think Rivers plays very motivated this season with all the trade rumors/disgruntled about LA rumors.
Jeremy Maclin - Really just wanted a good player that was his team's WR1 for my WR3 here, and he's a bit of a hometown hero around these parts as well.
Torrey Smith - explosive downfield threat, QB has a cannon, and no way SF defense is stout after all of the departures/retirements
Dorial Green-Beckham - can't claim to be a fan of his or Mizzou football, but imagine if DGB doesn't become a shit head and performs to his talent. Couple that with Denario Alexander not destroying his knee 100x, and Mizzou could've been known as WR and DL University.
TE Jordan Cameron - Judging from the various threads, I think we are all in agreement that Tannehill and the Dolphins take a step forward here. A healthy year could be a huge year for Cameron.
K tbd
DST CHIEFS - As the last one to take a DST, even after a few took backups, I was surprised no one took the Chefs. DST are so dynamic year over year, who knows. Just keep getting sacks/pressures like they have the last couple years and they'll do fine.
Overall, I like my mixture of established guys and young guys, but really, everyone's team looks alright at this stage in the game. Feel free to pick it apart, it only helps with my $$ league preparations.
Great Write Up!! Congrats Monkey
