Elsewhere, there have been questions about Kendall Bussey Jr. and whether or not he's considering Texas A&M. His father told us Thursday night that there is no considering other schools and they are just looking forward to their Tennessee visit the weekend of Jan. 30.

LSU has tried to make it's way in the picture as well, but Bussey Sr. tells us he's excited to be a Vol and ready to be on campus and visit at the end of the month.

Zach Azzanni was in Texas to see wide receiver Ryan Newsome. Newsome will turn around and host Jones and Bajakian, along with Azzanni on Sunday. While there were some who thought Newsome would make an unofficial visit to Tennessee this weekend that looks unlikely to happen.

But, don't read into that as Newsome isn't as into the Vols, it was more of a logistics matter with his family. Tennessee is very much in the thick of it with Texas and UCLA and in our conversations with those close to Newsome they tell us he's yet to make a final decision.

As we mentioned in the War Room, Tennessee is a major factor for Kelly. The people close to him really like the idea of playing at Tennessee as well. I think Tennessee has a good shot with him, but it will be a long time between him visiting Tennessee and signing day because he will visit three other schools.

I think Tennessee sees Kelly as being the most complete back and the one most ready to compete out of the ones remaining on their board.

Defensive coordinator John Jancek and Steve Stripling were in Alabama to meet with defensive line prospect Prince Tega Wanogho Jr.. His recruitment has certainly become very interesting recently as his guidance counselor found out he had enough credits to graduate a full year early just this week.

The Tennessee duo weren't the only coaches as staff members from Alabama, LSU and South Carolina were also in and more are expected Friday.

Tennessee is still likely to get a visit, but there's a chance Wanogho Jr. holds off until after signing day to make a decision and if that happens it's not clear just how much room Tennessee will have left.
