I am confused.

Why did the Mets bring in their closer there? It wasn't the ninth.

'Shaw still showing he's not a big game player yet. He's still young tho, and things can change. deGrom with the shut down stuff tonight..

While he did not pitch like a boss tonight, he pitched well. Donnie fucked him (as normal) with his managing. But no question that he was out-pitched tonight.

Bum finds a way to out pitch the other guy. He will do whatever is needed to get that done. But it isn't fair to compare anyone to Bum. His big-game-ness is multi-generational. We are talking Joe Montana, Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky level stuff.

I would still take Kershaw over just about anyone in the game today. He is that amazing.

HUGE

Beating Kershaw in his house. Now the post-season collapse is creeping into all the Dodgers heads. And now the Mets have HFA.

Poor Shaw needs a manager and a pen.

Dude has had a couple duds in the playoffs, but for the most part, he's a Bochy's away from a much better stat line.

That said, FUCK YA!

Just a reminder of how awesome Timmeh used to be.

Doc threw a no-no that day, but Timmehs start may actually be more remembered. That was one of the most dominant games I have ever seen (and no, I have not forgotten Cain's perfecto.)

I will say this.....mad respect for Kershaw.....feel he gets a raw deal sometimes in the PO's.....but DeGrom pitched around two AWFUL Michael Ruhtyer errors like a boss. He dug down deep.....I think Shaw is still a beast, but I think he'd let stuff like that get to him.

Dusty would have left Kershaw out there. I feel confidant in that. But I think that would have been a mistake.

I am not familiar enough with the kennel to know if Jenson really would have been the option there. He may not handle inherited runners well. We are spoiled because we have a stretch master (Kontos) and we have a sick ROOGY and 2 sick LOOGIES. And a manager who knows how to use them.

Pedro Martinez calling out Mattingly and Honeycutt for leaving Kershaw in too long, saying they should have seen the signs, that they don't know their horse.

Wow, I bet that didn't happen all season (Greinke giving up two homers in the same inning).

Utley is a dirty bitch. Hopefully he doesn't see another game.
