Like this a lot as I'm sure most Cowboy fans will. Agree instant contributor. CB, STs, heck maybe even at FS. This will also put some pressure on Carr (restructure), Scandrick (holding out) and Claiborne (hurt and disappointing).

There were a lot of guys I liked still there. I'm guessing you are talking about Gregory. As I said the other day where does he fit exactly in our scheme? Lawrence is young and smallish. Tough to play him and Gregory together all of the time in your base defense or you will get run all over. I would have been very happy with Gregory, but I think this is just a little bit better fit for us.

I wasn't sure Malcolm Brown wasn't a fit for us

i wonder if we still have a few 1st round grades left. Brown, Gregory, maybe a safety or a LB. if we do we could be looking to repeat last year and trade up into the top 10 of the 2nd round.

Just thought the need for D line to improve was more important than CB and could have gone corner a bit later. D had lots of needs though. Glad we didnt reach for a RB there, Ill be happy with Duke or Yeldon in the 3rd maybe.

There has been some talk about the Cowboys possibly being interested in Michael Brockers. Sounds like the Cowboys and Rams have at least floated the idea. If we could trade for Brockers, what would it take? Does a 3rd get it done? I would make that trade for a 3rd rounder in a heart beat.

Green Bay just drafted Clinton-Dix last year, the Randall pick doesn't make a lot of sense, unless they plan to play him at CB.

Jones scored a 33 on his wonderlic. Mo scored a 4. That's about how far apart they'll be on the field as well IMO

a 3rd sounds good, wouldn't go a 2, there are 7-8 really good DT prospects left on the board
