Yep, tnerb, we may see a completely different right side O-line next year, starting with center which we know will either be Barnes, Jones, or Rhaney or one selected in the draft as Dismukes is still out there.
Its due time that these OL picks start paying off for the Rams. Time to exorcise the ghost of Orlando Pace.

Chiefs took Ramik Wilson right before our 4th round pick. Damn!

However, ksu called Donnal a possible pick for us and now we have him!

Did I mention something about Barksdale's IQ?

Not the Iowa tackle people thought the Rams would draft. Interesting

I forget, what was Jones' deal last season? Back issues?

tnerb, Jones' body was just plain beat up from playing nearly every position in the O-line in college for so long. He had feet problems, shoulder problems, and an assortment of injuries that needed to be fixed and healed and he was physically weak. He has added muscle to the tune of 313 lbs and his problems have been corrected.

I think the Rams finally have learned to do their due diligence before selecting a guy. It is part of the mentality of the Rams that was in full-swing when the Queen Idiot was running the show and Snisher have exorcised. Our Scouting department has really been improved and it is paying off. The Rams still do some things that don't make a lot of sense but those incidences are becoming more rare as Snisher continue to clean-up and build this franchise back to its powerhouse days of the 70's.

I saw that Red. He'll learn from the best and be a better QB in the future because of it just Rogers sat behind Favre and became the dominant QB we all now watch.

Not a sexy draft but it's obvious that we are in desperate need of oline help Which I commend snisher for over drafting in that area to make sure it's not an issue next season

Everyone has been clamoring for O-line help and as you stated, Snisher delivered with some beasts. Havenstein is probably going to be the first of the three O-lineman that will start.

On a collateral story. Stacy has again reiterated that he wants to be traded. It may not happen during the draft but he may be stuck because apparently there are no present inquirees but a lot can happen between now and September.

Brett Hundley Goes to Sit behind Aaron Rogers!
I can't think of a better tutor, at this point. Rogers can, and I think will, help Hundley more than any incumbent QB in the league could or would.

Apparently I have a higher opinion of Rogers than I realized.

Congratulations on drafting Sean Mannion in the 3rd round. IF given blocking and pass protection he will eat up opponents thru the air. Best damn passer the PAC12 has ever seen.
:suds:
Thanks Wallace, Sean does 'fit' the mold that Snisher wants so if Foles garners more cash than the Rams want to pay next year for QB, we have Mannion who is of similar size and QB style.

LOL we picked WR

Bud Sasser | WR, MissouriHeight: 6-3 Weight: 219
A 1,000-yard wideout in 2014 with good size, body control and ball skills. Doesn´t offer much speed-wise but is a really intriguing prospect.
