Start up the hype machine...
I'm sure it'll be another letdown for Canada (And probably the U.S. too)
Given that it is in toronto and montreal, i think there may be some more pressure to field an A+ squad this year.
They were missing a hell of a lot of talent in Malmo. Still should have done better with what they had, but they weren't on the same level of depth as Sweden's team for example.

I think another problem is that they worry about filling roles rather than just taking the best players and letting the roles sort themselves out. As I've said before this is basically the same thinking that gets you Rob Zamuner playing in the Olympics. If a guy is top player but he's a scorer and you don't think he's good enough to play in your top 6, let him score on your 3rd or 4th line rather than cutting him.

I guess there's nothing saying he can't get invited in December, but yeah, it's hard not to believe that some people at Hockey Canada seem to have something against Josh.
Ho-Sang 'insulted' not to be invited to WJHC summer camp
"I believe in myself and I know what I can do," Ho-Sang continued. "I don't really care if nobody else does, I'll show them and that's all just a part of the process. At one point, people didn't know who Patrick Kane was, at one point people didn't know who Sidney Crosby was."
For example, I don't agree with every Team Canada selection but the notion that they purposely don't invite guys because they might be too GOOD is ludicrous.
Asked directly why Hockey Canada wouldn't want him on that team, Ho-Sang, looking puzzled, responded, "I don't know."
He definitely should be invited. His skill in international hockey (even on the small ice) should definitely be considered.
That being said the kid comes across as kind of crazy/dumb in that article.
Really? People knew who Sid was since he was 8 years old. Kane was hardly a nobody either. The guy needs to relax a little and maybe think about what he's saying.
