The one thing I would say is that the offense is more or less the same as it was last year. If we score 19 points on Sunday we will have scored the same number of points this year as last year.

we are 22nd in plays per game this year. Last year we were dead last in plays per game.
So I would prefer that we don't get rid of Grubb given it was his 1st year on the job and he was still mostly working with someone else's toys.
The short yardage stuff is super frustrating but, IMO, that is mostly a player execution problem rather than a play calling problem. We don't have the personnel that can push the point of attack in a scrum. IMO, that has been our BIGGEST problem all year.
Grubb has had his issues no doubt but the ineptness of the offense lands on JS for duct taping the o-line for years and Geno making horrible decisions at the worst time during the games.
Yeah, I dunno.... maybe I heard the announcers wrong but I do acknowledge what the stats say on the link provided.
I look at where we are now compared to where we were at the beginning of this year, and I see zero improvement. Is Grubb working largely with someone else's toys? Sure. But they are still NFL players and I suspect we are at least average at the skill positions and probably a touch better. It's not the end of the world if we give Grubb a 2nd year, but what we've been doing for 4+ months isn't working. Maybe he'll improve with a full off-season and a year of experience at this level, but my expectations will be fairly measured if we just sort of run it back with
