cap supposed to be 140 million in 2015. roughly 20 million under ( With Dez, Smith, and Murray becoming Free Agents)


So we still aren't out of the water ..... but getting better

Which is why I am so hard against handing out superstar contracts

Now Smith is a different story .... kid is 24 years old and a top 5 LT in the league. You find a way to keep him no matter who else has to go.

I see Romo gone after 2016 ... Witten about the same time .. I look for them to leave together

Ware being released .. Hopefully the writing is on the wall .... younger and time for the next guys to step in .... while staying relevant and in contention. 1 game away from the playoffs last couple of years

I have no idea what happens if we cut Carr after this season? The team needs to either put him in position to succed or part ways. He was burnt over and over in zone. I would not be against taking a corner,but I also realize this mess wont be fixed in one draft. I do think about 2 really good drafts could make the defense respectable

I could see if we draft good ...
cut ties on some older players

2016 being a contender with money to spend in free agency

but this is Dallas ..... dont count your eggs before they hatch

and Carr is going no where .... we would have less money for FA if we cut him this year

Post June 1st around 3 million .... but it cant be used til after June 1st .... Helps you none
