lol - Just heard from a pretty reliable source that one of the Tigers players has a holiday booked for Hawaii next week.

/I guess he's not bummed that he doesn't have to make the long bus trip to Brandon now for Thursday's playoff game.

The Medicine Hat Tigers have until April 7th to finalize a lease agreement or they will be kicked out of their spanky new arena. I guess negotiations aren't going well.

In all seriousness it was a good season in the windy city, something for them to build on at any rate. Kudos to the Pats.

No worries sir, the Royals are a very impressive team and it was easy to see why they finished with the best record in the league. They dominated game 6. Good luck the rest of the way

My heart can't take much more of this. 3-2 Royals. Tyson Ballie almost tied it but the asswipe kicked it from his back foot

A bit of a coming out party for the CHL's only player born in the 2000s against the team that traded the pick eventually used to draft him. He gets the tying goal with about 7 minutes to go in the 3rd and then gets the winner it OT.


The Sea Dogs won the Maritime Division in the regular season, but are considered underdogs by my most since 2 of their best 3 goal scorers, including their best all around forward, are done for the year with injuries. Veleno played most of the season on the 3rd line with a couple grinders as linemates but in their absence got promoted to Top . If they are going to go much further in the playoffs they are really going to need him to continue to step up and make the most of this opportunity.

Also for those of you whose NHL team might be picking in the 6-10 range, #18 for Cape Breton who scores their 3rd goal is draft eligible this year and will likely be taken somewhere around there.

Yeah, but I would say it's definitely easier these days to make the NHL as a smaller player. Flames are hoping this kid Mangiapane who plays for Barrie in the OHL might be a future NHLer, but he's only 5'10". As you know, Gaudreau is no giant.
