So apparently the Q has adopted a rule where the visiting team is not allowed to salute any of their fans that have travelled to see them play on the road.
I've just read some discussion in French of some incidents that happened in Quebec. My French isn't the best so I could be wrong about some of the details but apparently the gist of it is that after winning a game in Quebec City, the visiting Val D'Or Foreurs wanted to salute several bus loads of fans that had made the 8 hour trip to see them. The Quebec Remparts players blocked their path preventing them from reaching the section where their fans were sitting. After that is where my French fails me but it sounds like there was some kind of incident.
So naturally instead of making a rule that disallows poor losers to block the winners from saluting their most loyal fans, they come up with the previously mentioned rule.
