So after OKC lose to GSW in 24 hours, the Clippers will be 1 loss behind them for 3rd.

No Iguodala (only guy who defends Durant). No Curry. I don't know about that loss.

They might play, but as of this morning both are questionable to play.

I am guess Curry guts it out.....and Iguodala in is street clothes.

I'll be shocked if Curry doesn't play. Not like Iggy defense on Durant been any good. Durant killed them both times.

A side effect of the Spurs staying on the Warriors heels in the W-L column....

The Warriors will have a built in reason - beyond the record - to keep playing at the end of the season... especially with 2 Head-to-head matchups coming in the final 4 games.

It would be AWESOME if the Spurs keep winning until then and the Warriors drop a couple between now and then.... can you imagine the drama of TWO teams fighting head-to-head not only for seeding but also the record. That would be just incredible.

In all seriousness.. with a grand total of 5 games as evidence... any such conclusion is largely guesswork. I think both would be non-contending playoff teams.

I think a much more fair comparison would be their records when each of them have NOT played.

Actually, I think it's the opposite for them. They already knew the Spurs was one of the teams in the West that have consistently been at the top- so being able to say they have topped them in terms of records is probably something that makes them proud. It speaks directly to their body of work & dedication to winning.
