I don't quite understand how Georgia can jump in at #11 and Nebraska can be left off the list. We've got nearly our entire offense coming back (assuming AA stays), our defense front 7 only loses 2 guys and we played so much depth this year, I don't see that as a problem. Need to replace Baptiste and Evans in the secondary, but i just don't see. Freakin SEC hype again from the great ESPN network. No wonder I can't watch that crap anymore.

It's really perception. Nebraska has essentially flat-lined (maybe even went backwards) and Iowa is improving from their (7-6) 2011 season and (4-8) 2012 season. They weren't expected to be (8-5) this season with a win in Lincoln. They also beat Minnesota.
