There were a few blasts at Scioscia with two of them having Calhoun bunt since he has not been asked the entire year and playing Hamilton. One fan responded to the Hamilton issue of him playing:

He’s seen no game action in weeks, and only 22 plate appearances in the past 30 days. He slashed .190/.227/.190 with net negative defense in that time.

Tonight he went 0-for-5 and blew two plays in the field that ultimately led to two of the Royals’ 3 runs.

Not a single reason to believe Hamilton would succeed tonight based on the past two months. Pure guesswork from Mike – real fan fiction stuff.
