2014 Overspend in Free Agency Thread

I went to the last tournament in Malmo with my father and brother-in-law.
so yeah, the WJHC is a pretty big deal in out household as well

Calgary has an annual Mac's Midget Hockey tournament every year also. I used to go to a few of those as well. Fantastic hockey. I may resume attendance this year. They get teams from all over the place.

I think I used to watch those when I was younger. they are usually played in that arena right off deerfoot trail close to where the Calgary Sun building is? or has that changed?


Im also still shocked we have a second Flames fan on the board.... Dash was so alone he kept jumping teams to feel loved

Meh, it's all good (lol). At least the Flames ship appears to be finally pointed in the right direction, still some rough waters ahead though. A McDavid or Eichel would help smooth things out.

That's the one - Max Bell Arena- roasting in winter , freezing in summer

It's a gonna be a rough one next time around - on both sides of the Western Conference, methinks - and I don't think Tomas V is going to like it, 'cept on the power play - and if he ain't productive on it - like Dungy Hart(ha,ha,ha)ly... playing there, will prepare ya for a quick exit - as damaged goods?
