He has his uses, but he's slow, takes too many penalties (which isn't good for a PK guy), and the advanced stats hate him. It's way too much money and way too much term.

So he's Derek Dorsett? Solid. Oh well, he played decent under AV a few years back, we'll see.

Hodgson's a year older, stewart is still there, Reinhart, the Myers Renaissance could continue... It could happen.

I expect Stewart at least to go at the deadline. I'm excited about Reinhardt, but I don't know that he's enough to turn this team around in a single season.

Big talk around town is that the Jackets are aggressively pursuing Olli Jokinen.

I don't know if he has enough left in him to play Jackets hockey and isn't a considerable upgrade over any of the current top six. But he is Finnish and those people don't age.
