I think Aaron Ekblad would be the best fit for the Panthers - they have good young talent at center - Jonathan Huberdeau, Aleksander Barkov and Brandon Pirri so they should pick the defenseman

Oilers should take Sam Bennett, lot of people have compared him to Mike Richards - Oilers need that type of player that can play the 200 foot game and give them offense at the same time

Don't forget Bjugstad and Trocheck. The top 4 seems kind of perfect for everyone. Florida gets a top defenseman with their center depth, Buffalo gets a center (Likely Reinhart) with their defensive depth, Edmonton gets a complete center, and Calgary gets another center as well.

Yep those two guys are pretty good too - and Jimmy Hayes has a good future there too

As I said on another thread, with JT coming back healthy, and hopefully for their sake a better goaltender plus the development of some of their young d-men, they should be a better team - maybe not a playoff team but a better team, they got on a hot streak around the middle of the season and started playing really well, if they're half that good throughout the entire season they shouldn't be that bad - can't assume that they're going to be healthy but if guys like JT are healthy they should be better

But knowing Garth Snow, he'd screw up the whole tanking thing if he tried to do so

This month’s release shuffled the top rankings of the ISS Top 30. With the season winding down, Sam Reinhart overtakes Aaron Ekblad for the #1 ranking, where Reinhart started the season. Michael Dal Colle has gone above and beyond with his recent play to surpass Sam Bennett for the #3 ranking.

“A spectacular start to the playoffs has helped both Sam Reinhart and Michael Dal Colle move up the ISS rankings", comments ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “With their last chance to show their development before the draft, both are averaging close to two points per game, while leading their respective clubs towards championship titles.”

I don't know if this was posted earlier in this thread, but if the Oil would have lost their last game of the season, they would have occupied the #2 hole (i.e. Florida's spot) prior to the draft lottery and would be express shipping a 'Welcome to Oil Country' DVD to Aaron Ekblad.
