2014 Lions' Board complete draft picks

Solid solid pick for us. Love that we used that 4th to move up and grab the guy we wanted. And we didn't lose too valuable of a pick.

Plus, he was roommates with Ansah at BYU. Awesome pick IMO. Fuck Ashlee Palmer.

Palmer is well suited to be a back-up, imo. Can play OLB and MLB and has good spped and athleticism that he puts to good use on special teams. That's the beauty of a strong pick like Van Noy because it bumps a guy that was a bit over-matched as a starter down to a reserve/special teams role and bumps a Travis Lewis or Rocky McIntosh type out of a job... Jmo, though...

Wow. That's not bad at all then. Basically had to give up our 4th to move up 5 spots and then managed to turn our 7th into a 5th. That's a win for us, imo.

Turning that 7th into a 5th was a nice add-on, though. That's a lot of spots we just gained by tacking that to the deal. Maybe that becomes our new kicker?
