Love the RB we drafted. His film is very impressive. Don't know much about the safety, or the QB. But it's always fun to draft a young QB. So, I'll check him out.

There is a difference between evaluating a draft, and calling guys "busts" before they've even suited up.

David Fales- QB... How many games into the season do we start to hear "Put Fales in!!"

(note: many don't know me on here yet, but I'm a huge Jay Cutler fan, and can't stand the "Orton should have never been traded!" or "We really need to make McCown the starter and NOT resign Cutler" stuff. Everyone knows we hear this every year...ugh.)

Like the pick- needed a backup. Don't think the "developmental" qb is a thing anymore in the NFL. Like What Trestman can do with vets and have faith in Palmer if needed. (Nobody had any faith in McCown last year- and look how that turned out.)
If Fales throws 2 TD's in a preseason game (and no picks) I can promise someone will make an argument that he should be given a chance. ugh...Go Bears!

It wasnt just McCown, it was McCown and 17 million more dollars worth of players around him when you have the quarterback whisperer that can make any schmuck a nfl quarterback. 54 million dollars buys alot of players, franchise paid players.

Fuller will be a solid player but he doesn't play defensive tackle. And as far as the rest of them outside the first round, terrible picks. Emery is clueless, he really is. What? have you ever listened to Chicago Sports radio? Do you not see people like BS here? Any one of the guys who wanted Cutler not resigned will be very quick to make that call when and if a couple things happen:
Fales- plays good to above average in any preseason game.
OR
Cutler throws his first pick of the season. (or preseason for that matter)
The bears lose a game.
Jay has a multiple interception game.
Jay smirks at the camera wrong, or shrugs, or blinks.

To think that NOBODY in Chicago will make a suggestion that Fales get a chance is a little short sighted. What makes you say that? cause I'd bet A BILLION Dollars!

He didnt have to trade up in round 1 and 2, he should have traded up in one of them. The trade cost would have been that first or second round pick and a third or a fifth to move up one spot. The first round was alot tougher than the second round. Moving up in the second 4 spots might have cost a 4th or 5th or something better next year. That was the cost to move up for other teams. Minnesota traded their 40th (2nd) and 108th (4th) to move up to 32 (1).

Thats the whole problem. The know it all's are like cub fans drinking the theo kool aid. There is a plan and they are doing exactly what they want. If Donald was there at 14 no doubt in my mind Fuller would not be here.
