Fins get their OLB in Jordan Tripp out of Montana same place where they got Dan Carpenter from - Jimmy Wilson currently on the roster also from Montana
Tripp´s combination of size, length and fluidity make him a versatile athlete worth considering at several positions in the front seven. Great value for the Dolphins here in the late fifth.
For what its worth, make of it what you want - Tripp is the 5th player the Fins have selected in this draft who was named team leader/captain for their respective teams. Small character issues for a couple, but overall good guys and thats important
WR, Matt Hazel Coastal Carolina selected by Fins.. This is one of those unknown, small school guys scouts and draft experts have been talking about a lot. A good get for the Fins… adding depth and competition at WR
Jackson Jeffcoat and Shayne Skov are two remaining names id like for the Fins to get with the last pick - Michael Sam is another choice if not as an UDFA
I just caught up to the draft after taping it and overall I'm pretty happy. Really like some of the picks hopefully Turner becomes that versatile G/T. Like Tripp hopefully fills the middle on run downs.
I also like how the Fins drafted. I think the offensive line will be much improved. The Fins have added J Landry who catches nearly every ball thrown his way. Lynch is a good blocker who will make some catches in the middle of a defense. The Fins' other picks have good potential.
