If Johnny Football is there at 19, do you take?

We'll know soon how far Martin will slide.

The Giants just picked WR Beckham instead of Martin.

I'm sure the Fins will have some other options in mind in case Martin is already picked before #19.

The Rams just chose Aaron Donald at pick #13.

I think Tannehill needs another year to develop plus he'll have a better Oline. It's easy to forget that he spent most of his time at college at WR. I'd like to see Tannehill get rid of the ball sooner. I think B Lazor will help his development a lot.

I like the Ja'Waun James pick. Gone are the days of the turnstile Oline. They just have one remaining guard spot available. Jason Fox will provide quality depth at OT if healthy.

No trade back but James will be solid. We'll see what the saints gave up to zona...

But will one of the OT or G be there when zona picks that's the question.

We'll see what's left at zona as that will determine whether they should have moved back.

I heard that zona may have taken James that's why they didn't move back. Moses also has a hard time at RT so they felt safer with James. Not sure about the G but none went...

From what I gather Fins believe James can bring some versatility to the OL, whether that happens or not remains to be seen -- But, there is hope.

A case can be made for the Fins going after a few other guys instead in that spot given the guys that got picked after, but the options weren’t all that much better than what we got.

I am glad they stayed at their spot when picking - No sense in losing any picks this early in the draft.

I am certain they will continue to fill their needs with quality guys today and tomorrow.

They valued a plug and play RT and got one of the best ones so hard to argue. They could have gambled and moved back but if he's gone then your settling for most likely a G prospect and I'm sure that they feel confident in getting one later as there are lots of competent ones. I also didn't realize that Moses has trouble at RT so he's not a fit whereas James will most likely start from day 1. I can live with this....

Now they can wait and see what comes in Rd 2. Take BPA for G, ILB, DB, TE or WR. If they do this they'll end up with a very good player and fill a need. I'd highlight the first two positions...

Potential targets: UCLA G Xavier Su'a-Filo, TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, WR Marqise Lee, RB Carlos Hyde, RB Tre Mason, LB Chris Borland

Via James Walker on twitter… I really would like us to go with Marqise Lee and def either Hyde or Tre at RB. Those guys are cant miss prospects and we should be able to grab one of not both of them in the coming picks today.
